Jack Daly is the protaganist of the short series Resident Evil: First Hour, a former officer of the Redwood City Police Department, and a member of the Northwick Police Department. He is killed in the T-Virus Outbreak of 1999, and is played by Timothy Olyphant.
Biography[]
Resident Evil: First Hour[]

Jack Daly, during the events of First Hour, had just transferred from the Redwood City Police Station to Northwick.
Resident Evil: Cataclysm[]

In Resident Evil Cataclysm, Jack Daly is found in Northwick Offices. When you attempt to search his body, the words "He seems to have committed suicide, poor bastard" appear on the screen. He still holds the keys to the holding cells and to the helipad, which co-ensides with First Hour, as he had grabbed both.
The major difference is the gunshot wound goes through the jaw to the back of the skull while in the movie, he shot himself through the skull horizontally. Also, his uniform reads Sheriff Department in both game and movie although he works for a police department, this is unknown to why.
