East Zahani Village is a small African guerrilla-dominated village located somewhere in the Southwestern African region. Its official language is Ndebele (though some of the villagers speak various other languages) and it iscurrently the hometown of the oldest living Wesker defect, Oluchi Yeboah. It is also a location where Alex eventually discovered the ancient text in the Silent Caverns that became his source of inspiration for his New World Order.

History[]

In the early 1940's, the village was a peaceful place, though radically poor; by the early 1950's, the village was eventually raided by enemy guerrilla troops and taken over as a location for drug peddling and weapon's smuggling. It is also later where Umbrella arrived and offered the villagers paying jobs to support their families should they excavate the caves upon Alex's command. The active racism against non-natives spread quickly when Oluchi was "infected" and eventually, Umbrella left the village after Alex had uncovered an "interesting formula".

It was only later on in the early year of 2000 that Chris and Jill were sent to investigate biological threats in the area. They discovered a different type of the Progenitor flowers and Chris learned of the Wesker children from Oluchi. The peaceful village continued to become overrun by drug-peddlers and slave traders. It is later investigated by Josh and Sheva during the events of Code Genesis.

Layout[]

The village rests just south of the Silent Caverns where Alex had uncovered the ancient text. It is also seated near a small river where fishing is the major cash crop of the village.
